Our story in a few words
Northwoods Wild Child Yearns to See The World
As a kid in the Northwoods of the 80’s, I was fascinated by tourists and National Geographic. I was fascinated by the greater wide world. I couldn’t wait to move to the city.
In the city I completed a BA at the University of Minnesota in comparative literature and a Minor in Language. I loved stopping on the West Bank for a meal and finishing my homework. So many cultures. So much Art.
Working in downtown half a day nearly every day introduced me to culinary delights and the cultures behind them. We truly are stronger for all our great immigrants.
After a wages discussion among co workers, I found I could do the same job but under different titles and earn more on the job education and a wage I felt I could raise a family on.
Always open to opportunity and challenging changes head on with risk assessment checklists in hand, I dove into IT Operations at the earliest opportunity.
Bring it all back home
The best part about leaving, is the coming home. In 2003 I brought my family North. So much has changed. So much is still the same. What I find different are all the new townspeople who bring the relentless sense of adventure and community activism I have always associated with our small area.

I understand the ITIL and Agile recommended methodologies are an ideal to which teams strive. I work to remove obstacles at every stage, from business case to the execution of development through to successful daily operations and customer service processes.
