IT Operations to Teaching
As a kid in the North woods of the 80’s, I was fascinated by adventure and I couldn’t wait to move to the city.
In the city I completed a BA at the University of Minnesota in comparative literature and a Minor in Language. I found my world engrossed in the technology age of the millennium. I have worked in IT operations through Incident, change, implementation and project management in one aspect or another through Financial services, Retail Support and Health Care.
The only constant is change. Advances in technology have increased the divide between those who have control and those who are in control. I am teaching technology classes to help bridge the gap.
Starting in 2026 I am working to maintain open hours where I can provide basic technology education. Classes are offered at a size of 5-15 and start at $300. + $40 each person additional.
Each class is focused on a specific topic. We begin with a Question session so I know how to focus my descriptions. After an introduction to the history of the technology in the topic, we open our devices and get interactive with the topic of the day.
